General Information

This journal subjects all submitted scientific articles to an independent peer review process prior to publication. The main purpose of the editorial office is to ensure publication quality, scientific integrity, and fair evaluation.

Type of Peer Review

  • Double-blind peer review: both the author(s) and reviewers remain anonymous to each other.

Stages of the Peer Review Process

  1. Submission and initial screening: The editorial office reviews the submitted manuscript for formatting, plagiarism, and relevance to the journal’s scope.
  2. Editorial evaluation: If the article meets the basic requirements, it is forwarded to the editorial board for assessment.
  3. Reviewer selection: At least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise are assigned to evaluate the manuscript.
  4. Peer review: Reviewers assess the scientific content, methodology, results, and the accuracy of references and provide clear recommendations.
  5. Decision-making: Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial office decides whether to accept the manuscript, request minor or major revisions, or reject it.
  6. Revision and final evaluation: The author revises the manuscript; if necessary, the revised version may be sent back to the reviewers.
  7. Acceptance for publication: Once final approval is granted, the manuscript is prepared for publication and metadata is assigned.

Review Timeframe

Initial peer review usually takes 4–8 weeks. Considering revisions, repeated reviews, and preparation for publication, the full process may take from several weeks to several months.

Ethics, Conflict of Interest, and Confidentiality

  • Reviewers and the editorial team keep all submitted materials strictly confidential.
  • If a reviewer or editorial member has a personal, professional, or financial conflict of interest, they must decline the review.
  • If the author is found to have concealed important information, the manuscript may be rejected or retracted.

Plagiarism and Originality Screening

All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening. The similarity rate is evaluated by the editorial office, and explanations may be requested from the author if needed.

Editorial Board and Reviewers

The editorial board consists of experienced and independent scholars. Reviewer selection is based on subject relevance, publication record, and independence.

Corrections, Errata, and Retractions

If an error is identified after publication, the editorial office will issue an erratum, corrigendum, or, when necessary, a retraction. These procedures are conducted in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Complaints and Appeals

Authors may submit a written appeal if they disagree with a review decision or editorial decision. All appeals are independently reassessed by the editorial office.
