INTEGRATED GEOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT OF GROUNDWATER RESOURCES

Abstract
The article analyzes the natural-geological characteristics and economic essence of groundwater based on an integrated approach. The patterns of hydrogeological formation, lithological and filtration properties of aquifers, and mechanisms of natural recharge are examined. The theoretical foundations of the economic evaluation of water resources as an economic category are considered. The necessity of integrating geological and economic factors in groundwater assessment is substantiated. The importance of hydrogeological monitoring, scientifically justified determination of exploitable reserves, and principles of sustainable use is highlighted. The research results are aimed at developing a comprehensive geological and economic assessment of groundwater resources and ensuring their rational utilization.
