MULTIVARIATE CRYPTOGRAPHIC SYSTEMS AND THEIR ANALYSIS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes the theoretical foundations, structure, and security features of multivariate cryptographic systems as one of the promising areas of post-quantum cryptography. The computational complexity of the MQ (Multivariate Quadratic) and IP (Isomorphism of Polynomials) problems based on systems of multivariate quadratic equations and their role in ensuring cryptographic security are considered. The structure, operating principles, advantages, and security aspects of the UOV (Unbalanced Oil and Vinegar) and Rainbow digital signature schemes are discussed. The main cryptanalytic methods and potential attacks against multivariate cryptographic schemes are analyzed, and the prospects for their application in post-quantum information security systems are evaluated.
