THE ROLE OF CHEMICAL CAPSULES USED IN ROCK BOLT SUPPORT OF MINE WORKINGS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyzes modern development trends in rock bolt support systems for mine workings, with particular emphasis on the role and significance of chemical capsules. The study highlights structural solutions of rock bolting technologies, their application efficiency, and adaptability to various mining and geological conditions. The advantages of support methods using synthetic resins, phosphogypsum, and slag-cement binders are examined. In addition, the two-component system of chemical capsules, their operating mechanism, and the polymerization process are analyzed. Special attention is given to reducing negative impacts on workers’ health and the environment through optimization of chemical composition. The obtained results contribute to the improvement of rock bolt support systems and enhancement of their environmental safety.
