RAPID DETERMINATION OF COTTON MOISTURE CONTENT
Main Article Content
Abstract
The moisture content of cotton significantly affects the quality of its storage and processing. Traditional methods, such as thermogravimetric analysis, require significant time and laboratory equipment. In this work, a method for rapid determination of humidity using a portable infrared humidity meter is proposed. Experiments confirmed high accuracy (error ±0.5%) and speed (less than 1 minute per measurement). The method allows optimizing the drying and storage processes, improving the quality of raw materials and reducing energy costs.
