Abstract

This article provides a comprehensive analysis of improving agroecological monitoring maps using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Particular attention is paid to the development of digital cadastral maps for assessing the ecological condition of land plots, as well as their accuracy, completeness, and topological consistency. The methodological foundations of digital cartography, the capabilities of GIS technologies, and digitization processes are discussed. The study also highlights the important role of metadata, spatial data quality, and data management in enhancing the effectiveness of agroecological monitoring. The obtained results can be applied to rational land use, strengthening environmental control, and the development of modern digital cartographic products.
