INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES FOR EFFICIENT EXTRACTION OF GOLD AND COPPER FROM MIXED COPPER ORES
Main Article Content
Abstract
The development of scientifically grounded technologies for the processing of industrial wastes containing non-ferrous and precious metals is an important direction for improving the economic efficiency of mining and metallurgical production. This article presents a technological scheme for the integrated extraction of copper and precious metals from off-balance mixed copper ores of the “Yoshlik–I” deposit. Based on experimental studies, the developed technology was implemented in practice at MOF-1 of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC). The research established the optimal parameters for two-stage beneficiation of mixed copper ores using a Knelson concentrator. As a result, the gold recovery reached up to 78%, while the comprehensive copper extraction exceeded 85.4% with additional copper recovery operations.
