Abstract

To study the process of selective gold leaching using environmentally safe "Jinchan" reagents, experimental research was conducted on samples taken from the Marzhanbulak gold-bearing ore deposit. According to the experimental results, under optimal technological conditions, where the ore was ground to a particle size of -0.074 mm at more than 90%, the solid particle content in the slurry was 40%, the lime consumption was 3 kg/t, the initial treatment time in an alkaline medium was 2 hours, the "Jinchan" reagent consumption was 350 g/t, and the leaching duration was 16 hours, the degree of gold leaching reached 95.2%. The results obtained showed that the "Jinchan" reagent has the ability to selectively dissolve gold with high efficiency, and its use as an environmentally safe alternative reagent to traditional cyanide technologies is promising. According to the research results, compared to traditional cyanidation technology, the duration of gold leaching using the environmentally friendly "Jinchan" reagent was reduced to 4 hours, which significantly increased the productivity and economic efficiency of the technological process. The environmental safety of the waste generated after leaching was also assessed. As a result of the analysis, it was established that the content of free cyanide, lead, zinc, and arsenic in the waste is below the permissible limits established by current state environmental standards. Therefore, these wastes can be disposed of in accordance with environmental requirements without additional detoxification processes. The results of the comparative economic analysis showed that the application of the "Jinchan" reagent significantly reduces production costs.
