Abstract

The article highlights the geological characteristics of the Beshkul small intrusion rocks located in the southern segment of the Kumbel-Ugam fault zone, based on field observations and macroscopic study of samples. The color, granularity, structure, texture, visible mineral composition, and secondary changes of 10 samples taken from the massif were described. It has been established that the main part of the massif consists of granite, granosienite, and granosienite-porphyres. They are broken by a rod of fine-grained syenite, with a diameter of about 40 m. The granocyenites are vertically intersected by lamprophyre dikes (dikes 0.5-2 m thick) that extend in a northwesterly direction. Inside the massif, in the cataclastic zone with a width of about 30 m near lamprophires, sulfide chlorite metasomatites are developed, with a thickness of 1-1.5 m, and 25-30 m northwest of them, a hematitized sulfide zone is developed, with a width of 2.5-3 m.
