Abstract

Today, increasing the service life and strengthening of friction parts of agricultural machinery is one of the most important issues in the world. Increasing the strengthening and abrasion resistance of parts allows for extending the service life of the equipment and significantly reducing costs. Cementation of agricultural machinery parts is an effective method for solving these problems. Cementation is carried out to increase the hardness of the working surfaces of agricultural machinery and, at the same time, maintain the impact resistance of the internal part. This article analyzes cementation technologies used to improve the service life and quality of agricultural machinery parts. Various methods of cementation, their influence on mechanical properties, advantages of technological processes, and research results are presented. The positive impact of this process on the efficiency of agricultural machinery is also highlighted.
