MODES OF FAILURE OF COMPLEX-STRUCTURED POTASSIUM SEAMS CONSIDERING PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Main Article Content
Abstract
The physical-mechanical, mining-technical, and mining-technological properties of the mineral extracted at the Tyubegatan Mining Complex have been determined. At the same time, reasonable proposals have been developed to increase the service life and stability of the workings.
The causes of destruction in the mines have been identified. The structure of the fractures in the extracted sylvinite layers depends on the gypsum of the extracted layer, the size of the main rocks, the thickness of the layer and the depth of occurrence, which allows for the determination of these parameters based on the results obtained.
Factors influencing the deformation of mine workings are: the gravitational properties of rocks, the hydraulic coefficients of the workings and the underlying rocks, physical, mechanical, mining, and mining-technological properties, the bond strength of the particles included in the crystal lattice, and their chemical composition.
