Abstract

This paper examines the origin of uranium, the history of its discovery, and its contribution to the development of nuclear physics. It analyzes uranium enrichment technologies, recent trends in nuclear energy development, and Uzbekistan's strategic position in the global uranium market. Particular attention is given to modern uranium mining technologies, the activities of Navoiuran State Enterprise, the development of new uranium deposits, and the economic and energy significance of the Jizzakh Nuclear Power Plant project. The findings demonstrate Uzbekistan's steadily growing role in the global nuclear industry.
